Me: Yeah, so that's what's been going on. And I am going to be 33 next month. Here's to hoping that will be the start of a good year.
Good Friend: Jesus was 33 when he died.
Me: Um, thanks.

I always find it encouraging that Jesus didn't even really start his ministry until he was in his early 30's. I still have time to figure all this crap out.
